02 / HOW WE THINK
Your project deserves more than a quick fix. It deserves clear communication, defined responsibilities, and work that can be checked against an agreed scope.
The requirements, deliverables, and exclusions are defined before work starts.
Quantities and cost assumptions are explained, so you know what is included.
Drawings, observations, or test records are provided as specified in your agreement.
PEE documentation is scoped around the involvement of the appointed Professional Electrical Engineer—not simply the act of signing a drawing.
03 / A CLEAR WAY FORWARD
From the first conversation to handover, know what happens next—and what you receive.
Share the location, property type, and work you have in mind. Available drawings are helpful, not essential to start.
Identify the requirements, necessary assessments, deliverables, exclusions, and quotation.
Proceed with the confirmed engagement, with changes to scope or schedule discussed clearly.
Review the deliverables, resolve agreed follow-up items, and receive your project records.
04 / BEFORE WE BEGIN
Know what to prepare, what to expect, and where professional responsibility begins.
Have a different question?Start with the project location, building type, and a short description of the work you need. Available plans, photos, and equipment details can help define the scope. You do not need to know every technical detail before making an enquiry.
Existing drawings can be assessed to identify the preparation, verification, or changes required. For PEE signing and sealing, the responsible engineer must establish the appropriate professional involvement. Sending an existing file does not guarantee that it can be signed and sealed.
Design and installation are separate scopes unless your proposal expressly includes both. Your quotation should identify the drawings, materials, labour, supervision, testing, and handover records included in the engagement.
Initial enquiries are welcome. Site assessments, design work, and detailed technical reviews are quoted according to the work required. Any professional fees should be agreed before those services begin.
No. Permit approvals, official inspection certificates, and connection decisions remain with the relevant authority or utility. The agreed service covers document preparation and coordination, not a guaranteed approval or connection date.
